Default charging system not working

My car does not charge the battery. Tested the batter and its okay. Started the car and pulled one of the leads of the battery and the car shuts of. Now before I go and take out the alternator, how do I test the large 80amp and 50 amp fuses under the hood which I believe are responsible for relaying the power to charge the battery. BTW it is a 93 honda civic cx. Anyone know which way is it easier to take out the alternator from top or bottom of the car?

Default Re: charging system, and how to test fuses? (raczyk)

K just tested the three fuses that i think are part of the charging system, under hood 80amp and 50 amp , under and under dash 15 amp alternator fuse. All are okay. Leading more an more towards a bad alternator. But have to do more testing. Is it possible it may be the main relay? any suggestions much appreciated
