Well as the topic states: What kind of 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times (estimated or actual) are yall getting after performing these major engine modifications or swaps? I am honestly trying to decide if I want to plunk the money down to do one of these things to my 6th Gen Coupe 5spd. I love the look of the car, but I realize that it weighs as much as a sherman tank. And with that weight problem what will I net performance wise after spending 2k on engine swap or basic non-built motor turbo. If i didn't sink the 2 grand into the Accord, I could by a old CRX or civic hatch or del sol and have it as a project car, and the accord as my daily driver. Well What do yall think?

Your second idea sounds much better and definately more logical.

 

I know, but I really love the lines of my body style accord, and everyone and there brother has one of the small cars....oh well, keep the ideas coming.

 

Having a second car as a daily driver and your other car as a project car is a great idea. You won't have to hitch a ride and you can take your time and do things right on the project car.
