The grill in the 1st post is mine also. I was just wondering which Civic it came out of.

I think that's correct because it looks exactly like the one on my 99 EX, although it may have only been on the LX and EX models. You can see a DX by looking at THIS picture.

The 99-00 grill has two rows of plastic in the middle and the one you posted only has one. It could be from a 2001 and up Civic. Did it come ON or WITH your Si??

actually you have to compare both years to know. it can be a duplicated 99-00 that was made to fit a 96-98. the 99-00 is a bigger grill (meaning longer) and that is definitely not a 99-00 CIVIC SI grill.

looking that it only has one plastic row in the middle and considering the size of the emblem part it looks as if it where from a 01 and up painted electric blue its definately not from a 96-98 civic cuz it does not look like mine at all

That's simple, it's the grill from a 96,97,98,99, or 00 LX sedan..think about it...do research...i see it all the time..it's the grill with the chrome trimming, just painted si electric blue..that's why it has the glare and reflection..

It's a 99-00 Civic hatch/coupe grill.

The 99-00 Si is mesh, the sedans have chrome trimming. Definitely not 96-98.

wrong, wrong and more wrong. YOU do the research.

It's definitely from a 99-00 coupe, and NOT an Si grill.

end thread.

yup... just a normal civic grill. read my explanation

ONLY the sedans had chrome trim btw

scenario one: someones si got wrecked, and an aftermarket replacement was installed, painted and bam... an si with grill fins and grandma would never notice the difference

scenario two: someone just went out and decided to get their civic painted ebp
