ROFL!

What were you going to do? Install fog lamps in the rear? That would make for some pretty pissed off drivers behind you!

Actually i have a rear fog light, a lot of Euro cars have them, its kinda like having a brake light on constantly so that people behind you can see the light during the fog.

its on a lot of edm cars, a lot of places in europe require them because of the heavy fog and drivers cant see you unless you have the bright fog in the back. anyway, yes i am planning on putting one on my car and my original post just asked where i might be able to get one for an eg...no one was posting so i just deleted it and figured id keep looking on my own...but now i guess i'll see if anyone else responds.

pretty much all european cars have this. the German Del Sol for example have the fog lights on the license plate panel so that people behind you can see you and not run into you. another european law is that you are REQUIRED to have 2 flares, or reflective triangles, and a medical kit in your trunk incase u get in an accident

Yes, ICB Motorsports has the part listed on the website, though there is no pricing, so you should contact the company if you're interested. The EG rear fog lamp is not a separate lamp, but is instead integrated into the inner tail light below the reverse lamp.

my ukdm eg6 had the normal 1 rear foglight wired into one of the rear lights. But i checked the wiring harness in the hatch and saw it had another wire for a foglight on the other side and wiring for extra tail lights too.

So i got the bulb holders they use for the brake/tail and indicator lights, rewired it, plugged it in to get 4 tail lights and 2 foglights. Easy as...

You could probably install the Integra one, but if that's the route you prefer to take, you might also want to look into some of the universal flush-mount rear fogs that are available. The effect will be similar, and the cost will likely be quite a bit less than the Honda unit.

Yes, but that's a strictly European thing.

Also, many offroaders with trucks, Jeeps, etc do install aftermarket fog lights ("Driving Lights") in the rear. Wire the relay into the reverse lamps and you can see where you're going in reverse. It's great on the trails...but then again I really don't know why you'd want or need that on a Honda.

No, it's not. It's a legitimate safety feature for use when visibility is limited, and numerous manufacturers include rear fog lamps as standard equipment on North American vehicles.

Its not STRICTLY a euro thing. ITs a safety thing. I installed them because i like the look but also to make sure some idiot doesnt hit me in the fog by driving too fast

How many North American vehicles have rear fog lights from the factory and aren't European makes?

Yes, it is a safety feature, but I don't think I've ever seen a car in America with rear fogs that didn't have a European name on it (VW/Audi, Volvo, etc).

The Oldsmobile Aurora immediately comes to mind.
