MTF, cant go wrong, I went to redline, but back to MTF, if your having problems with your syncros, then use the GM stuff, or Penzoil, which ever, they are the same. after 120,000 miles on my tranny, still using MTF, good stuff!!

Opinions won't tell you which is better, only emperical data will.

Cheers and I hope this pointless repeated thread will be forgoten soon.

Both are good when we swap in our shop we use syncromesh, probably due to the fact that Honda dealer is an hour away and the GM dealer is right down the street.

Both do a good job.

There is no need to call me an *******. All I am saying is that opinions are almost useless cause everyone will have a different one. Democracy doesn't work when it comes to science and facts.

Research both. Ask for facts and links to informations, not opinions.

But again,
Cheers and good luck

are u having grinding issues? if not then the honda manual calls for 10w 40 motor oil or honda MTF

If you are having grinds then use either Redline found at advanced auto or the Synromesh.

Because alot of people have good luck with the GM sybchromesh, with minor grinds. It fixed a third gear grind in an old gsr tranny i had.

GM Synchromesh felt a TAD smoother, and reduced the 1-2 shift grind a bit.

Go get the Pennzoil Synchromesh, because that is the EXACT product that GM uses, hell it even has the GM note about it on the bottle. Difference? About 10 bucks a quart. Pennzoil is like 6 bucks, GM's bottle is 16.

I ran Honda **** cause I got it free, but the Pennzoil is just as good, and a bit better.

Vote for Pennzoil Synchromesh!!
