i was wondering if im the only crazy one left on our honda tuning life who has had this idea?
i am wanting to make a rally crx. sounds simple i know but has anyone evr thought of or tried to make it an all wheel drive.

My idea is this, tak a crx shell drop a b20 v-tec in it with the all wheel drive crv tranny and transfer case. then the factory bseries front modified to sit a little higher then take and customize the crv rear end im reety sure it will need custom mouts fot the rear suspension and axle but i think with a little time and money it could happen.

What do you think , is it a good idea or bad one or just leave you asking yourself if this guys on crak. well hit me back im hoping somone likes it.

Why spend 10K+ on converting this project?

 

Yeah, I've thought about it...I bought the entire AWD drivetrain from a wagovan, it's sittign in my garage. The only major rally co. in america is http://www.rally-america.com And to race in their league, your rookie year you MUST drive a 2wd non-turbo car, so AWD for a beginner is a non-concern. I'm currently entering this season with a b16 CRX gutted to hell in their G2 class, about to ******* own everyone...My friend is entering his GSR hatch. The winner last year (G2) was an EG hatch with a stock LS. And I'm also gonna fool around in SCCA rallysprint/rallycross for fun.
