Default 94 Honda Accord Ex in desperate need of help

My 94 Honda has some problems. I am having to change my back brakes at least twice a year. Im not sure if it is the caliper pin or rotors? I need help. I also need a front grille. If anyone could help I would greatly appreceiate it.

Rear disk brakes do wear pretty quick. Most people manage to fry them in about 40k miles.
When you replace them (if you do it yourself) do you lubricate the slide pins and put them back in correctally?
A caliper could be going bad if you have never maintained your brake system but i don't suspect that yet.

i have 194k on my honda. With gas at $2.25 i can fill my car up with $35. My brakes are actually messed up now. my car is making this scraping noise on the back right side. the brake thing(shoe, disc?), the box i get from auto zone, whenever i get those changed they have silver scrapes on them. and those are lifetime warranty brakes. so when i take them back to auto zone to get new ones the guy tells me that something is wrong back there because they are wearing too fast and not evenly. and if this happened again they would not give me new ones.my boyfriend puts the lubricating stuff on the things that come out of the box.and i dont know what dragging brakes is. and i lost my grille when i slid into a shopping cart at walmart during a snow storm

we can help, but we need to know a few things...

1. is the car eating front or rear brake pads
2. was the car involved in hurricane or other flooding ever..how long have you had it
3. when was the last time the brake fluid was replaced
4. are the inside and outside pads wearing out at about the same time
5. are the left and right sets wearing out at about the same time
6. when you jack up each wheel, will it spin freely
7. have you retorqued your wheel bearings/cv axles
8. does your steering wheel wiggle when you hit the brakes
9. where is the boyfriend putting the lube stuff
10. if you drive down the highway and coast to a stop downshifting without touching the brakes, which if any brake rotors get hot

i bet if you answer these ten, we'll get somewhere

i have had the car for about 2 years now. when i am coming to a stop, the left front of my car shakes. i am getting rear brakes put on today. my boyfriend puts the lube stuff on the indside of the pad. i also purchased some brake fluid so that my boyfriend can put in there. so i have a question...are rear rotors different from the front ones? i'm thinking thats what i need to put on my car...thanks for the help

if you are killing your rear disk brakes, I would make sure that the guide pins are well lubed, that the calipers are not sticking, they are not leaking, and that the brakes are bleed. I didn't have to change my rear brakes until 138K when I changed my front ones for the first time......

honda pads and most aftermaret pads come with shims that go between the pads and the calipers. I would coat them with anti squeal compound.

The rear rotors may a screw type versus a piston type found on the front of the car however if the car has abs brakes then they are all piston type calipers.
