Default You don't know "gutted"

I'm making a rally CRX - video of my old hooptie one here: http://www.urallye.com (click on WMV). Now, instead driving a POS like an idiot, I'm actually getting serious and making a race-prepped rex. As a result, I have completely gutted the car of non-essential items, or in some cases, the things I'm replacing/upgrading - take a look at the equation i derived:

Me + Weight watchers scale x School intersession = one REALLY gutted CRX and the weights for the removed parts.

All given weights were from an 88 CRX Si, in lbs. Also, it's for one piece only...so if it says "fender" that means one, not both.

Exterior
Door w/ glass 61.2
Front fender 4.9
Rear hatch w/ glass 43.6
Hood 27.6
Si wheel w/ tire 31.2
Steelie w/ tire 27.3

Engine bay
Front cross-member 20.4
Sun roof (whole thing) 26.0
AC condensor 6.9
AC compressor 13.1

Dash stuff
Dash w/o AC control or radio 14.1
Heater core 8.8
AC/heater fan (behind dash) 7.9

Interior
Si seat 28.1
Headliner 1.4
Cargo cover and rear carpet 22.2
Rear quarter panel plactic (lower) 4.8
Plastic rear glass surround 2.3
A-pillar plastic 0.45

As the car sits, with all that ish removed rockin steelies it's at 1225 no motor, of course.

Just as an FYI, almost all of that stuff is now for sale, but I'm a trial user so I can't participate in that forum...so if you're a mod and reading this, UPGRADE ME!

good info, the crx should make an interesting rally style car.. id be very interested to see how well it handles off road. im also curious how your going to add more travel to the suspension.. the stock range seems like it wouldnt cut it off road

Extended shock idea: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=469485
However, I'm buying a hotbits setup... http://www.hotbits.org - MF ****.

Yea, I classified everything last-minute...sometimes that puts sun roofs in engine bays.
