Default f23 dohc vtec

I just picked up a f23 for 10.50 off ebay( dumb people need to know how to word the add to get more)hehe for great deal!!!
But I had a few questions because I have never delt with the f23
I have everything needed but I need to know some clearances for it because I am going to bore it to 87 mm and put some 13:1 pistons in it and wanted a rough idea before rough assy and claying it help from pirate and prelittlelude
would be nice. Thanks!!!

well the key is going to be the pistons. if your getting custom pistons, then you need to make sure that they have a 1.181 cmpression height.
using http://www.c-speedracing.com compression calculator you want to make sure that you have the picton to deck height number set to .008". because according to pirates thread the stock f23 thread was .008" in the hole and the head gasket is .026 crushed.

you will need to put in these number into the compression calculator in order to find the right cc to make the dome of your piston. if your not going to get a custom piston you can get rsx type r/s ? for get which ones but in the f23 with a h22 head it yeilds like a 13:1 + ..

with this high of a compression and it being a hybrid motor i would recommend head studs.

F23a1 = 150hp
F23a4 = 148hp
F23a5 = 135hp

those are the honda ratings, but i dont know exactly how they do at the wheels.
