i've looked for specs but *** up short .. what i need to know is Can i swap out some internal pieces on a 94 sohc vtec motor to a 88 dual point motor..?? if i can what are those pieces (example: pistons, valves, rods etc. )

i belive pistons will fit if u take the crank also...... take the entire vtec head dont expletive with the valves and ****........that way u have mpfi and vtec.......................lol its a d16z6 ur talking about rephrase ur question

 

Im assuming we're talking about a 1.6 sohc vtec..(D16z6)

The 1.6 crank has bigger journals then the 1.5
The 1.6 rods are longer then the 1.5 rods..
The pistons will work (Both are 75mm)
The whole entire head bolts up to the 1.5 block (A.K.A. Mini-me)

 

well just rebiulding the d15 and i have a d16 laying around from the last swap that i did .. just don't want to mess with all the wires rite now .. plus the previous owner said the d16 was knocking ,never had the chance to try out the motor, i b16 the coupe rite away. plus it's freaking cold up here in minnesootah i'll wait til spring , summer for all that ..

 

i went to zealautowerks d-series calculator plugged in some info and the back ground turned red does that mean NO CAN DO..

if i shove the d16 rods in the d15 w/d16 pistons will the pistons hit the head..??

I told you already the 1.6 rods are longer..134mm compared to 137mm..

Also The d15b1/2 has a shorter deck height then the d16z6..
