OK guys got another question where should a motor VIN be on the motor next to the b16a2 i just want to make sure this motor is legit..

if i find the motor no papers and missing vin .i know it might be 99% stolen but is there a way to check. Do i go to state protrol to get it check and if i were to buy the car do i ask for a bill of sale.. i want all my **** legit and not sure if state protrol is the way to go

 

on the block of the motor. i think it's right on top of your oil pan

there is another vin that is on the tranny and there one vin on the block next to the oil pan
