Default Remote starter problem..

I'm having a problem with my auto starter. Ever since my battery die about 3 months ago, my remote starter doesn't work. My alarm still work, but auto start isn't . Can it be my wiring?

Thanks..

If it is cranking and not starting then the tach has to be reprogramed.
If it is not cranking at all then it could be a stuck hood pin.

most alarm tells u the error, if there is no error and the power goes on, but the car doesnt start is could be: wiring, resistor, fuse, clutch bypass, and in my case, i have no idea

So when you remote start the car it doesn,t do anything i.e. dash lights up, parking lights flash, cranks.
1. If car cranks, starts then dies usually it does not see tach signal which would have to be reprogramed.
2. Depending what brand you have, a grounded hood pin would cause it to do nothing.
Best bet is to take it a shop if you dont know what brand/model it is.

Take it to who ever installed it for you and have them reprogram it for you, if it was a DIY job then follow the last setup instructions on programing.

I would check the fuses first just to be sure, the Alarm is often on one circuit and the starter is on anther. Also if the battery was replaced I dont remember if you said that make sure they hooked all the wires back up.
