Default 96-98 seats and 99-00 seats

is there a difference between stock civic ex coupe seats from 96-98 and 99-00?

just checking because my friend (dealer) has a 00 civic coupe and i have a 96 and im bout to trade him my not oem black leather (i guess not oem) for stock cloth.

they should just bolt in unless the rails were swapped with an integra or older civic.

If you're trying to put a 99 hood on a 97, it won't fit.

I put 99-00 Si seats in my old 97 Civic coupe and they bolted in no problem!

I just put 2000 Si seats in my 96 EX. Honda changed how the rear seat mounts in the car in 1997.
Front seats: 1996-2000 all interchangeable
Rear seats: 1996-1996 different from newer models
Rear seats: 1997-00 all interchangeable

I have an Si and I think those are about the worst seats I have ever sat in, I would put Del Sol's in before I would put in Si's. .02

There is no support what so ever in stock Si seats, no side bolster at all, if you put Si seats in plan on pushing the "dead pedal" to keep yourself in your seat. Del Sol's are so much better, but THESE (pic below) are what I am putting in her when I get back to the states (out of a 93 SiR)

EK seats are horrible. I have Sols in my car after doing Integras, and Corbeau A4s and I love them.

The seats in the pic are from my SiR here in Japan, notice the steering wheel on the right, yeah THESE seats are way better, but stock Si seats are just different fabric on EX seats.
