Default Are JDM auto tranny's stronger??

Hi I'm new (duh). Anyways, like my sig says, my second tranny is slipping (automatic) and my dealer warranty expired a while ago. I'm on eBay looking at JDM automatic transmissions wondering if they are stronger or "better performing"? Before you melt my flame suit, I don' t assume everything JDM is better, but I did want to know this answer because besides having lower mileage (usually) I am unsure. Thanks in advance!!

they slip when there isn't enough automatic transmission fluid in the torque converter. i think that can be one reason. in a way, power isn't being sent to the transmission

a USDM prelude tranny and JDM prelude tranny are BOTH made in Japan.
Accord trannies are a toss up. some USDM are made In japan, some JDM are made in the US. regardless of the coutnry of origin there is nothing different int eh design or manufacture of the transmissions to make one that was manufactured in Japan statistically better.

No they are not. It is a design flaw in the trans that causes the failures for 2nd and the bearing failures
