I found that the hole for the pin (shifter select rod from the transmission) was too small and had to drill it out.
after that I noticed that my transmission is stuck (I think it's one of the collars that is stuck). I dropped in an ITR LSD in a YS1 and had it wrapped up for about 8 months before putting back in the car.
I'm hoping that it's because oil needs to be circulated and that it'll take for the wheels to roll in gear to do so.
