What do i need for rear disc brake swap for 89 crx hf?
I just went to my mechanic and he checkedmy rear brake drums because they were squeking and i seen that the brake drum pads needed to be changed and he said he needed to resurface the drum cover a little. He says the job would cost me $300 and i trust his pricing. Just wondering if doing a rear disc brake system is cheaper and how hard of a job is it. Links and pics would help alot. I have a 89 crx hf and swapped a d15b vtec. Let me know
def do a disk brake conversion. I got a complete conversion for my hatch for $75...use the rear disk brakes from a 90-93 integra or get them off of a crx si...search you will find alot of info on this...
Please use the search. The rear disc brake conversion is by far one of the most common topics on this board.

They're usually old rusted Civic rear disc brakes with no e-brake cables.
