just make absolute sure there isnt any type of hole in the vaccume tubes. One night coming home from the track i had put a whole in one from moving around my charge piping (it had blown off at the track) and i boosted to 20+psi (my gauge only goes to 20). check and recheck

dont worry about the threaded hole. Just check and recheck your vaccume hoses. People have talked of sucking up some carb cleaner into the vaccume system and find where it leaks out.

is it the first time you really got on it? If so you might have the wrong wastegate spring, I'm running an Inline mani with turbosmart WG, no problems here.

I've gotten on it before and it did fine, but now i can floor it and itll overboost, but if i mash the peddle about 3/4 way down itll level off at about 7lb, which is where its supposed to be..

If the WG's gasket is in some way damaged, I would suspect it would do something like this (overboost). I'm going to guess it's in some way the WG's fault. Maybe the shaft is binding somehow?

And that will do what for him exactly?

A boost controller can't lower boost below the wastegate spring pressure and that is all he is running off of.
