when i floor it, i shoot alot of black smoke out. i tuned it so the afr is 11.5:1 from like 3psi-10psi... it shoots out alot of black smoke the second i floor it and then it gets less and less.

i was playing around with some 70yr old dude in a new bmw and he pulled up beside me laughing and waving his hand in front of his face, lol. so i took off again and sprayed him some more.

LOL thats funny. black smoke usually means thats its too rich. wierd since its tuned for 11.5:1 tho

yea thats why i was just wondering if this is normal on boosted cars... 11.5:1 is the lowest it goes and that cant be too rich on 10psi..

 

what did u tune it with? when u 1st step on the throttle, there is a fuel tip in which puts a bit more fuel into the motor. maybe its dump n too much fuel at the tip in point

i street tuned it using e-manage. i keep a eye on the wideband and the lowest it goes is 11.5:1 in full boost. i guess ill have to put it back on the dyno and log the afr to know for sure..
