If not mistaken all the 200 is, is the new version of the 180. The 200 has different looking controls. Proably couldnt even tell a difference honestly.

get the 200. From what I know...bigger number usually equals more current...more current = mucho power. 9 bucks...get teh more powerful machine.

I'm currently in the market for a Syncrowave 200 DX runner too,

will take em at air Liquid in Qc, Canada.

the runner package came back at 2355 $ + Tx

will buy verry soon, as soon as someone buy my Econotig.

Kranked.

They both will have similar performance. On a transformer machine the AC frequency is set at 60hz, so whoever told him that needs to re-read a few things. The only major difference is that the new 200 has a built in pulser and an additional 20 amps of power.

oh yeah forgot about that was at my local welding store and the guy told me on the new 200 you can weld thinner material easier from the built in pulser the 200 offers. Nice little feature i.m.o.

im probably the only person that can give true feedback on both macvhines. i had my 180 for almost a year and last month purchased the newer 200. i can honestly say that the ac welding abilities of this machine seems to be nicer and a bit more stably. my aluminum welds have improved a bit on the new machine. as far as the extra 20 ampps for 9.00 go for it. the syncrowave 200 comes with the running gear as well as built in bottle holder cant beat that either. not to mention the 200 comes with a shorter cable for the torsh but the up side is that it is a flex head torsh this time. also the 200 has balace and dig vs. just balance on the 180 if i remember correctly

What options does the pulser give you ?? can you change like peak time and backround amperage ?? or is it just pulses per second like the pt185 from the red team ????

Have not really looked into a flex head torch but I really thought my 200 did not have this.

I own this one, great machine. Miller did not even know it was out yet either ( atleast the guy I talked to ) . I was told I was one of the first to own one

Yes, you have the option to change Peak and Background time with the pulse feature on the Synchrowave 200.

1800 is a good deal. I was quoted 1850 from a portland dealer and 1950 from my local dealer.
