Default Power Windows to Manual

my windows keep goin off track so instead of payin my buddy $20 each time to fix it.. i wanna make it manual... what needs to be done (besides the doorpanels)

take your door panel off....and tighten the bolts on your window adjustments when the window is all the way up and on track....if the metal on the door is stripped and the bolt is loose and not tight against the metal on the door, jb weld and a washer...works great

i have to reallign my window like every 2months, i want power windows what do i do?!

we tighten them everytime we re-align the window..

i think i need a new regulator

Yeah, replace the regulator. Those things are notorious for failing on the eks. I'll even guess from experience that it's the passenger side, right? Regulator should cost you somewhere around 100 bucks. Good luck.

no its my driver side each time.. ive had the car for 2years and ive had to do it 1x every 3months.. this is my 2nd time in 60days

tighten up the bolts, make sure BOTh sides are tightened, grease your track, and go to ebay and find a regulator. that shoiuld fix it

i found a regulator on usaparts.com for $98.00shipped but id really just like to convert it to manual because im tired of fixin it and im affraid that even after the regulator replacement ill still end up having to put it back on track once every 3months...
anyone know what needs to be done to put it to manual?

just because its power doesnt mean thats why its going off track. manual windows go off track just as much. my passengers window was a curse in my old 92 civic. it was actually a piece on the regulator was bent.
