Ok I have a 5 inch. Phantom tach which came w/ the shift light. My question is that can you just wire up the shift light to your gauge cluster instead of having that big'o tach in the car? If so, is there a DIY or how-to? I already searched and can not find anything. Any suggestions would help, thanks.

 

You have to get a rpm switch that switches the power on at a certain rpm..Why not just use the tach and hide it behind the center console and extend the wires for the light and put it whereever..I did that on my car..
