Default Need wheels for snow tires.. help with sizing

I have an 04' S2000 that i need wheels for so I can put my snow tires on them. I was wondering if i'd be able to get 4 wheels the same size, that way i can get some off ebay for cheap. The tires i'll be using are 225/45/17 all th way around. Will 17X7's all the way around work. (currently 17X7 front, 17X8.5 on the back). What about the offset? will some like these work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

thanks in advance!

The link doesn't work.

But what I'd suggest is getting some AP1 rims for cheap and put snow tires on those. I've seen some AP1's go for $75 locally. For the tires, get Blizzaks. I've also recently tried out Hankook's snow tires on my beater (forget which model, but they were REALLY cheap). I took them up to the ski resort last weekend, and they tromped through the snow. I've had STUDDED Nokian Hakka's before, and these actually handled about the same as they did. I was really impressed for spending $40/tire. Not sure if they come in s2k sizes, but I'd recommend them.

Instead of buying new wheels, just use that money for correct sized snow tires.

A $20 remount/rebalance is still cheaper than a new set of wheels that might not fit right. Unless, of course, you find a set of 16s stockers for a really good price.

$20?? More like $50. All of the places around me charge $10/tire. Plus, they usually put little nicks on the rims. Seriously, do yourself a favor and get 16" AP1's. The tires will be cheaper and narrower (which is preferable for snow tires). Plus, I know you can find some for $100-200, which is worth 1 or 2 season's worth of swapping tires back and forth, not to mention the nicks on your rims.

Cliffnotes: Don't listen to Slideways. So Cal ***** know nothing about snow.

Don't be mad because my top's down year round.

$20 remount/rebalance @ Ron's Tire Shop. Wholesale prices on ALL tires.

Yeah, he should drive 1200 miles to Ron's tire shop.

10 minute DYI wheel swap > 1 hour wait at Ron's tire.

And, yes, I am mad your tops down year round. But you do know when the next Tsunami hits, I'll be the one with an ocean-front property.

Don't hold your breath. A catastrophic tsunami would run about 18 miles inland, raising the sea level 10-20 feet or so. I'm roughly 30 miles inland, at 165 elevation. You can buy my house though.
