Heater blower Switch no power
Hello
New here so bear with me.
I have 95 honda that is getting no power to the blower motor switch i have checked the fuse under the hood and it is good also checked the fusse in the kick panel by the driver foot area. all fuses are good but still no power.
Is there in inliner fuse in the wire or is the switch 24 volt which would require two hots. I have 6 wires two 8 gauge wires and four 16 gauge which is supposed to be the hot if need colors please let me know.
Thanks Lonnie

Turn on the blower switch and the key; then reach under the glove box and thump the crap out of the bottom of the blower motor. If it starts to run or tries to run the brushes are worn out. replace it and get on with life; The place to test for power is at the blower motor, the switch is the grounding part of the circuit
assuming the motor is not working,,,,,,,,,under the rt side dash , below glove box,, at the blower motor assembly there is a plug , it has 2 wires going to it , yellow/black ( power ) and red/blue ( ground ) chk to make sure you get both sources .. if you do , you got a bad motor,, if you don't, it could be a bad fuse, motor relay , wiring on the power side, blower switch, wiring on the ground side .......

Ok here is what I have came up with.
As for the question about no power at the switch I used a test light that I grounded. The switch does have power going to it but it first goes to the motor then on to the switch.
But here is what I have came up with being the problem. There is a short between the motor and the switch. Choice number two is the answer hondadude gave is right about the motor brushes being worn out. not sure at this piont. But honadude there is power to the switch when ever thing works right. it just goes to the motor first.
