Compression check on a H22a?
pull the fuse for the fuel pump.
hold the throttle plate open,
then crank it until the gague stops moving. thats how i do it.
depending on you elevation the numbers could vary greatly from mine to yours.. but your looking for comparability so that they would all be withink 5 to 10 psi of each other..

Make sure you remove all your spark plugs. Don't wanna start it while you're checking compression. And try not to turn it over more then 10 seconds. And space out the checks so you don't overheat your starter. You compression should be in the neighborhood of 200 PSI, and shouldn't see more then 10 PSI difference from your highest to lowest cylinder
