O.k. it wasn't in my R. It was in a modified 996 Twin turbo. That car is hella fast. Took the car up through 5th gear and then shut it down, didn't have the ballz to hit 6th gear. To keep it ITR related, Just don't try and race a 996tt because you will get killed.

DISCLAMER: Yes it was stupid, however. It was on open freeway, no other cars at all on the road, no entrances or exits, 4 lanes wide, cement divider and walls. Before anyone cries about it being on the street, **** off, your not perfect either.

Why I shut it down=Brain fart. I was at the top of 5th at had a brain fart thinking that was all it had.........forgot about sixth gear..........started thinking about life and already having a court date this thurs for another ticket. And Yes, STRAIGHT TO JAIL

Claimed 0-60with the cars mods is 3.9, but its from 60 up where is shines. 500hp and 509pd ft of torque.

My previous highest in a car was last summer in a 1994 Porsche turbo 3.6, 148mph
And on a bike 170-175 (needle bouncing) on a 94 fzr 1000 with a big bore kit.

Next in line for it is a B&B tri-flo exhaust and header system with intake and a custom GIAC chip. It should easly hit 375-400whp and 450-475trq! hahahah
I can't wait to take that baby out dragging. Oh yeah when I've raced it against my R I will pull away from it fast up until like 90mph then that baby comes screaming like a bat outta hell.
Oh yeah the new 996 turbo does the quarter mile in anywhere from 12.2-12.9 stock pending the driver and hit launch. Our 3.6 turbo should do a 12.5-13.3 stock per what others 3.6 owners have gotten.

The 94 turbo 3.6 is underated/conservatively rated from the factory. The last of the single turbo; wait.......and.....h o ly ****.

To answer another question, I just moved out of Birminham, but still in the area. I might be weird or smart but I don't like telling people where I live/where the ITR is.

And no drinks or drugs were involed on the bike, But that was a few years back= less brains and bigger ballz at the time. But that is only slowly changing

hahahah thats great! A true classic statement. I just love once that huge *** turbo kicks in and slams you into the seat like a roller coaster taking off. Plus when you shift hard the back will snap out on you if your not careful. Gotta love 3.6l engines with a big *** single turbo and a rear wheel drive setup with 275x30x18's on!

This 996TT has 245/40s out front and 315/30s in the rear on 18" Kinesis K-27s and all wheel drive. Its way to easy to drive. I dynoed a 84, 930 turbo last summer that made 425hp @ the wheels on a MD Dyno. Now that car put hair on your chest when tring to drive it hard. They didn't earn the nickname "widow maker" for nothing

I have plans to pick up a stock 1974 Carrera, with Ducktail and all in a few years. The owner/friend wants to keep it a few more years then sell it, I get right to first refusal, You though the ITR was rare this is something like 1 of 293??ish in the US.

lol Badboys! Yup thats the car. Ours is exactly like it to every last detail. Also the car was in other badboy like movie. The one where some guy has a tracking chip in him and he's setup by these cops to find something that they are looking for. His friend pulls up in a stolen 3.6 turbo and they take a crazy ride in it. Its a newer movie and its similar to bad boys. Also I believe the 3.6 turbo is also in the movie rollerball. In the previews I see a porsche that looks just like it however I can't tell unless I see the movie.

Also another things that kinda cool is the fact that if we still get the GT2 we'll have two 3.6l engine porsche's, one with a single big bore turbo and the other with a dual turbo and both are rear wheel drive and both are setup like race cars. The only real difference is the 7year gap between the two!

Also you gotta love Kenisis, however I still love good old 3pc Speedline rims made for porsche! IMO the best looking factory rim ever.
