FS: 1997 Saturn SC1 automatic $1500
I am selling this car to get a 4 door.
I have been driving this car everyday to work 60miles/day without any major problems. Below are the parts, which I do have receipts for, that has been changed recently (500-700 miles ago).
New oxygen sensor
New Spark Plugs
New Front Windshield
New Engine Coolant Sensor
Oil changed with high mileage oil every 3000 miles
New tire
Transmission fluid flushed out
Coolant flushed out
The serpentine belt probably needs to be replaced eventually since it does sqeak a little in the morning.
The car has about 148k miles and the body is in good shape (few scratches) and the interior does not have any cracks. For those that do not know, most or all saturns have dent resistant door panels, so you can be assured that the body is in fair to good shape.
The AC does not work (Im sure that its electrical); however, the heater has been working great for me during this winter. One of the reason I got this car in the first place was the gas mileage. It gets about 40mpg on the highway and I have gotten on average 38mpg driving 70% highway and rest city.
This car would be great for someone looking for a beater/daily driver car.
kelly blue book price calls for $2250; however, I need to make a quick sell, so I will let it go for $1500.
