Comp Clutch Twin disc ??
How many people are running the competition clutch twin disc?
Theres alot of talk about having to make a pedal stop and shave down the rear main seal to make it work....
Has anyoen delt with these things? how did the pedal stop work out?

we're using the competition twin disk on both our cars. we didnt have to do anything with the clutch pedal. although we did have to shave some of the bolts that went through the flywheel. some others that use them didnt have to do anything for installation.
I run one, mine has a heavy duty pressure plate due to the horsepower I told Competition Clutch I was planning on making. Had to adjust pedal BUT I am gonna make a pedal stop since I hear it works better actually, also had to shave the oil pan and main seal to clear the bolts on the flywheel.
Jason Hunt runs one on his Coupe also and maybe on the CRX, all good!
EDIT:Oh yeah you have to use SOHC Manual flywheel bolts also, keep in mind B series use 8 Flywheel bolts and SOHC only use 6. My buddy sent me some and I was like you shorted me man! lol

i would think by using a spacer your moving the flywheel and pressure plate out and it would cause the throw out bearing to have less travle and possibly cause the fingers on the pressure plate to hit the disc

So I know this is an old thread and all but im just wondering if u still r supposed to use sohc flywheel bolts or trim down the ones that bolt on the pressure plate cuz I just put mine on the other day n I didn't notice anything that would b a problem but maybe I didn't look hard enough since I wasn't aware of this. I just used the flywheel bolts that came with the kit. And I do understand that I will need to make a pedal stop. But also i didn't trim my throw out bearing at all it seemed like it would work. Thanks
mine is great, did not have to shave any bolts or seal, and I have one of the earlier ones, I've noticed the pressure plate bolts are little too long but they don't touch anything, I am thinking of ordering ARP bolts in a shorter size for it. I don't like the allen head bolts that it came with, also ARP Dseries flywheel bolts.

Hmm I used the bolts that came with the kit n they didn't bottom out that I noticed.. I'll have to pull the tranny back off n double check it. Were u able to order 8 d series ones from arp?

The flywheel bolts that come with the kit from CC are D series... It's the guys that buy them secondhand/used that have to source the D series bolts themselves after finding out the B series bolts are too long.
It all has to do with the thickness of the flywheel at the hub, they made it a little thinner to save weight as well as some other technical things IIRC.
We've run CC twins in everything from professional drift cars (Virjin Jorj R32 sr20ve, z32 trans, etc) to weekend drift cars, high hp daily drivers, civics, supras, etc. Everyone was happy with the clutch.
A lot of people couldn't get used to the chatter at first, but because the floater/pp isn't strapped the floater moves a round a bit with the clutch pedal in
