Default ls/vtec need help!!!!!!!!

hello people i need to change my head gasket on my ls/vtec ii tought I would use the one that fits the block but other poeple tell me other things. so what ineed to know is which head gasket to use my set up is b18b block, with b17 head. thanks.

use a LS b18b/a head gasket and get the dowel pins drilled to fit on the opposite side of the head OR use a B16 or gsr head gasket and get some golden eagle dowel pins

I use a B16 head gasket with the GE dowel pins on mine and its fine

good info people i heard that golden eagle makes a head gasket kit if so how much does it cost. thanks for all your help.

Golden eagle kits are usually expensive, I would just go with an OEM head gasket and use stock dowel pins, but you have to get your intake side holes drilled out at your local machine shop to accomodate the stock dowel pins

it is probably about 50 for the gasket and from 30 to 40 for the machining
