I bought what was thought to be a D16Z6 Single cam V-tec head and am putting it on my D15B block. I noticed the E.A.C.V. that would mount properly to the manifold is from a B16. I am contemplating if this is a B16 single cam vtec but is there such a thing? And is there some way to justify the head?

no such thing as a sohc b series never made , there should be a stamp on the head right below the valve cover , like for b series it would be like pr4 or pr3 ... and so on i dont know what they are for d series but find it them do a search on here and youll know what head u have goodluck

there is no such thing. some sensors from b series motors work on d series motors. end of story.

 

B series = DOHC ALWAYS!
