Painting my Interior... !!
I am in the process ( back 1st ) of painting my Interior red.... to match the 91 teg
Now in the front ..where all the gauges and that stuff... Should i use heat resistance since i live in Arizona and can get very hot inside cars ( i do have my windows tinted ) or should i just use regualr paint like my back ( in the hatch ) ??
Ill post pics before...during....after when i get done... should be around tomorrow Wednesday the 4th

Ahhh! Dont do it. If anything, just get some upholstery done. Keep it stock IMO. But if you want a world of pain in the *** then paint it. Theres several write ups here on HT so a simple search can do it.
don't do it. i did mines a whlie back. all the little plastic crap that were removable were painted white. and now, im spending $$$$ to get it back to black.
you will regret it.......
also wrapped my seats black and white, now im spending 400 on some black gsr leather seats.

You see. Listen to these people dude, this is no bullshit man. Keep it stock everyone with common sense(done it before) will tell ya. I regret doing it to my old 92lude that I had. It was terrible.
I agree with these people. I saw many pictures of painted interior and IMHO it looks like ***. Save yourself money and time for something better.
esh, I thought it was outlawed or something. I got away with it on my tan to black conversion. Only did the parts that I didnt get black. Its been several months now and still no paint chips. Then again, these pieces dont get to much contact.
but ya man, save youself the headache. When you sell the car down the road, the person wanting your teg wont want the interior all shitty. Keep it oem.

Absolutely disgusting!
I did that to my first teg back in high school...years and years ago. What was I thinking?! Then again, I had altezzas, indiglo guages, etc. It was rice!
I know everyones saying don't do it, and some have said "to each his own", but just trust me. It doesn't look good, it fades, it chips/scratches easy.
Stay clean with it..but if you want to do, hey at least you were warned

I dont know what all you guys are talking about.
Spray painted interiors always come out just like stock. No, BETTER than stock.
Your friends will be like "Wow, ****! If I didnt know any better, it came like this from the dealer".
Do it. Then post pics.

I spent HOURS painting over the horrid white the previous owner covered my interior in. I hate painted interiors!..and it seems like 99% of HT agrees.
