40 series sidewall would be in comparison with a 50 series on a 15" rim.. go with thinner

hmm. on my blades i had 205/50 and there was still some gap. i know 205/45 are the standard tire, and i dont want my rims bent so ill try those first. i can always return them if they still rub in 45's i have a pair of avid H4's ordered in 205/45

i plan on getting CF hood and trunk some day so i dont wanan spend the extra $$ shaving it now and then getting a trunk later. as for if ima paint the trunk im not sure. and im not shaving it and putting tape over the holes either.

yeah ditto here, that and if i take a hard corner. the 45's SHOULD fix that for me though.

40 is too small for the roads around here, bent rims are

just go with a 45.

looks good

meh, blades were a hand polishing project i lost the time and patenience to finish. so in this case rota > OEM. i dont plan on running on the track with rotas anyway so i dont see a problem for me with rotas for the future.

I had the H4's on my old set of rims, good choice, I liked them. And do not go with a 40 series tire. I made that mistake, eventually bent my rim causing me to completely ruin the tire. Not to mention it'll make the ride 10x as worse. 45 should be fine.

The 45 series tires will look so much better. Congrats on the new wheels. I think I may buy a set of 16" black GT3's and P Zero Nero M+S for my daily driven POS, pictured below.
