Coolant reservoir empty...and coolant all over the front of the engine bay...what happened?
I noticed the other day that my coolant reservoir was empty, which was odd because I've always kept it between MIN and MAX and it's never fluctuated.
In addition to it being empty, the tank itself had dried blue "waterspots," indicating that the Honda blue antifreeze was not in the tank where it was supposed to be
The waterspots were on the front of the tank, so something had to splash back towards the rear end of the car.
I scanned the front of the engine bay and also noticed that there were dried blue waterspots spread about; around the passengerside AND driverside headlight harnesses. So it wasn't only restrained to the passenger side of the car.
I checked underneath the car, and there were a few drops of coolant on the ground. Checking underneath the car, nothing was out of the ordinary, except for a few coolant-coated pipes and hoses.
What could be my problem? If i look around the rim of the radiator, I can see some dried blue crust. Could the radiator finally be busted at 100k?

Well I can't delete my post, but I found the problem. I forgot to diagnose the damn problem when the car was on and running
The radiator appears to be leaking, about 1ml every second or two.

that, and possibly the car got hot and evaporated everything out of the reservoir as well.....

If it overheated there would prolly be signs of leaked coolant around the overflow. If not then it prolly just sucked it through the overflow and leaked radaitor.

I'm willing to bet that the upper or lower plastic tank has a hairline crack and leaks especially when the car is hot (fan comes on). Time for an aluminum one!

Bingo! I figgur an OEM replacement should suffice, so long as it lasts for another 100k or so. And radiators.com dellivered it in about 14 hours
