ECU code problems
Okay so this is an EF that I just put another DX motor in, because the old one blew up. Its popping a CEL but the light on the ECU isnt blinking properly. Its giving me ALL short blinks... and if I add them up I get a code 6, 7, 10, 16. Thats right 10 short blinks and 16 short blinks... I dont get it. I change out the PM5 ECU with a known good PM5 ECU and now the only codes I get at 6 and 10, but still gives me 10 short blinks. Is this normal?? Im lost right now.....
OBD-0 cars dont have long blinks, sorry? You will have to count them consecutively until you get a long pause. I would try and fix the codes the good known ecu gave you, 10 and 6.

Perfect. Thats all I wanted to know. I read on a hybrid forum that even 88+ have long/short blinks but I guess its just misinformation.
Thanks!
