Boosted B18C1 - Garrett T3/T4 .50 trim
Well, I am boosting my B18C1 over the winter. Currently I have these parts in my possession:
SS Autocrome rewelded tubular manifold
Garrett T3/T4 .50 trim
550cc RC Injectors
255LPH Fuel pump
Hondata S200 with boost and options
Turbosmart manual boost controller
3inch downpipe
SS Autocrome intercooler with 2.5 piping
3 inch downpipe
External Tial wastegate 35mm with 5.5psi spring installed
Now, I still have the stock map sensor, so I believe I am limited to below 11 psi. I was hoping using 94 octane, I could make somewhere in the range of 275whp using 11psi or lower. I was just wondering if this was possible using that octane of gas and stock fuel pressure or if I need more equipment to make this possible. Also wanted to know if the stock axles were capable or if I should invest in sturdier upgraded versions using street tires (slicks will never be used).
And BTW, the B18C1 is completely stock. No headwork, bottom end work. The only thing it has is a metal headgasket (thicker than stock).
Thanks all for your help.

you'll hit your goal no problem, i would guestimate closer to 300whp at that boost level. I cant see any reason on upgrading the fuel system right now and 94 oct will also be fine.. If you are not using slicks I wouldnt worry about upgrading the axles yet (even if you choose to use slicks as long as you launch properly you should be ok).. Street tires just so you know will be useless at the track , will need to invest in some bfg drag radials
