caliper specs to clear a big brake kit isnt good enough??WTF
Here's the story, I have a Wilwood 6 piston big brake kit and have no wheels to clear the damn calipers. Racing Hart has agreed to make a set of wheels to clear the brakes, so they requested the caliper specs. The specs had all measurements, from the rotor width, to the caliper diameter, but they say that it is not enough info, now they need a damn caliper trace. Are they serious? You think a company as large as they are dont need all this stuff, it should be routine. Maybe I am pissed for no reason, but it will take them 90 days to make a special order wheel and it took them nearly 40 days to tell me they need more info.
P.S. I tried a wheel spacer already and a 15mm spacer is just not safe if you ask me, plus it will ruin by bearing. (yes , I said 15mm, that really is the distance I need for the caliper.
Is Racing Hart bull shitting me or what? Do I just get the spacer and chance driving the car? Is there another company out there that can make a 4x114.3 wheel fast? (faster than 3 months)

what kind of vehicle do you have? Eibach makes vehicle specific spacers. Also good luck on finding a company that will make you a wheel faster than that. I've seen people wait 6months for custom wheels.
