im in the process of boosing my 6th gen accord coupe. got the parts lined up to be ordered, but i cant find a source for intercooler piping other then parts sourced from a drag kit. anyone here boosting their f23a or 6th gen accord that can offer some advice, or better yet, anyone able to make me some nice piping?

thanks for the links but ive been to all the sites you listed! id be more then happy to put the parts together myself, but im at college and i cant get access to tools and have the time to learn to weld or go somewhere to have everything done for me by a pro. I was hoping it wouldnt come to it, but i guess ill have to just source it from a kit.

they are all over the place man, but me I rather do all myself, or buy the parts, mock it up mark it and take it to shop get it welded, or use silicone conectors to put it together. either way cost less. and the only tools you need is a hacksaw and a marker, since you are in college.

 

When I did my turbo on my 95 coupe my friend and I did all of the piping ourselves.

You can go to advanced auto or the like and pick up some 90* bends and a straight piece that is of the diameter of your liking. Think out how many couplers you're going to need and grab a couple more than that.

When using a cutting disc it goes pretty quick, and if you have a friend that can help it'll go doubly quick.

 

making my own piping was WAAAAY easier that I thought it would be, and that was back in the day when I had no tools and used a hacksaw. I still have the same piping on my car too, like 3 years later. haha, the good old days. I spent like $60 on piping and got it welded for $100 (fawkin ripoff ) the piping kits cost a shitload and still dont fit perfectly, they do have beautiful welds though. Its up to you

I got my silicone couplers from stealthmode performance.. I think they were like $30 shipped for like 7 or 9 of them..

Some of mine are welded, but I mostly used couplers.

My piping is 2.5". NAPA carries real thick coupling that you can buy in lengths which you can cut to the size you want.
