No B18C5 headers?
I've got a Spoon header on order but I'm glad it's coming late. Gives me time to dyno my TypeOne b-pipe/5Zigen Fireball combo.
This gotta be real loud.. it's N1 type....
headers in yet, Dave?
Will,

= 2.15", I think someone said that was the muffler end.

How can one call that 2.5" b-pipe if the inlet is only 2.15"?
I mean 2.5" inner diameter test pipe or cat going into a 2.15" inlet can't be good, right? I remember SMSP stated that for exhaust, small - big is better than big - small?

That can't be the muffler end. The flange looks like it bolts to the cat to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never seen a honda exhaust have a 3-bolt flange on the axle-back end. And the TypeOne axle-back is the standard 2-bolt flange also, which means it aint bolting to that flange!
BTW, it's 63mm OD = 2.48" OD, which if 16-gauge steel is used, is 2.415" ID.

I think the picture that sackdz posted was from some that AJ PwR posted a while back. I saw another one where the tubing OD was 63.5mm or 2.50". Guys please remember that exhaust systems are made from tubing and not pipe and tubing is measured/spec via the OD and a wall thickness. I think the tubing used for the Type One is 63.5mm and 1.5mm wall, AJ PwR can verify these values.
The aftermarket systems that I've seen of course use a 3 bolt flange for the B pipe inlet since it has to bolt to the cat. The axle back portion always uses a 2 bolt flange so that it will bolt up to the stock B pipe (tube). The only other flange used in these systems is the one after the resonator in the tunnel, again everyone I've seen is a 2 bolt (we all know how much fun 3 bolt flanges are in the tunnel). From the pictures it looks like this system also has a 2 bolt flange after the resonator. Dave (FAST4DR) can confirm this.
Now anyone who buys/installs a 2-1/2" cat will have a 2.50" ID outlet on the cat since these cats start life as an universal cat which have both a 2.50" ID inlet and outlet. This is so the muffler shops can easily insert tubes in both ends without having to expand anything.
SMSP - Who thinks Honda-Tech would score big points with it's members if it had a components section with pictures and specs in order to compare parts without having to use the search and start repetitive threads that use precious band width.
