I'm certainly no expert but it looks like you need to spend some more time tuning that Hondata.

Something is definitely wrong.

That means those mods only dished out roughly 50whp over stock.

50 HP to the WHEELS, and on an N/A motor, I'm no N/A guy but I think that's a pretty damned good bump in power.

An H22 stock wheel hp is like 160, that's more like a 65 hp bump no?

tune a little more.

but pretty good numbers.

remember, the dyno is testing power to the wheels, stock HP on a h22 is tested at the crank

I think he was refer to the secondary butterflies in the intake manifold. I could be wrong but I don't think he would be refering to the butterfly in the throttle body.

Yeah, I was thinking WOT all the time too, but like I said, I'm not sure. Not familiar with the secondaries.

the secondaries are part #14 in the pictures below.

I've heard of others removing them as well.

Hmmm... That's very interesting. What would be the original purpose?

original purpose of the secondaries is to close off the shorter second set of runners at low RPM. Thus making less air travel further giving more bottom end torque. Then as you reach higher in the RPM's the secondaries open. This allows more air in a shorter path giving you more power up top.

Thats my understanding of it.

I'm currently looking into using an H23 IM on my F22B1. Both the H22 and H23 motors have those secondary butterflies as well as the F22A6 from the 90-93 Accord EX.

Seems in line with the hp numbers. H22's not a torque champ by any means.

Seems right.

That's why the H22 sounds like a bat out of hell higher in the powerband.

As I said, in relation to the hp results, the torque seems right. 200hp/156tq is stock for the H22 I believe, but given the drive train loss, your mods seem to be doing well to overcome that.

15.8 1/4 mile?? Sounds like your tires resemble something found on my favorite toy of the golden years, Power Wheels!

You'll have to take the educated opinions of others on here more familiar with the H22 regarding your overall numbers.

That would be the 1st thing i would do, no compression=no power

I would look to getting rid of that jump at Vtec and smooth out the power band. Your tq does seem low, I would do a compression check I had less tq than that on the dyno and I found that I had really low compression in 1 cylinder
