Si wheels on a gsr
my stock gsr blades were recently stolen and I have found a good deal on some 99 si wheels with 195/60/15's
These tires are about 3 percent larger then the stock tires on my integra. Is there Any reason other than a tiny decrease in acceleration and a bit of speedo error why running this setup would be a bad idea? I use my car mostly for commuting so I believe this would also improve my gas mileage although the difference would probably be small.
The roads out here in MA are terrible so I figure a little taller sidewalls wouldn't be a bad thing.
Anything I need to consider? hub centric rings the same? fit issues? thanks
also, any recomendations on wheel locks?

Nothing terrible is going to happen to your car if you use the tires that came on those wheels, which are indeed significantly larger and will have the various effects you mention. However, when it comes time to replace the tires, I recommend going back to your 195/55-15 stock size (or you can use 205/50-15).

Whatever wheel locks you use, make sure they have the ball-shaped seating area that stock Honda/Acura wheels have. You can get a set of wheel locks from your Honda/Acura dealer (they're made by McGard), or you can get aftermarket.
