Default oem alarm hood switch part # or pic

as the topic states either of these would help, I do not want the ghetto fabulous pop my hood and have a shiny dei switch blinging at me nor a mercury switch, so if anyone can help with a pic or a part #, it would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

As far as I know, there is no hood or trunk switch for a civic. At least mine didn't have one anyway. If you're looking for something discreet, just go to radioshack and pick up a single throw momentary switch that is weatherproof. A hood pin isn't anything complicated.

their is an oem honda hood switch for 92- 95 civics it came with the optional equipment alarm it bolts down to the core support where the a/c radiator thing bolts down. it is shown in the install instruction with a part # to buy it by itself, but I cant find the instructions online anymore. as far as pinswitches go , I work at a stereo shop, weve got tons of pin, mercury, and reed switches that would work,I just want the factory one. thanks for your input though! anyone else?
