Probs with cheap coilovers-
Heres a question.. i just bought an EJ that was absolutely slammed on these cheap ebay coilovers.. its waaay too low for a new england winter... and i need to raise it back up a little.. i do not have the tool that came with the coils originally... and i can only seem to turn it a little ways by hand.. once i get about 1/2" - 3/4" higher.. the tension increases and i cant do any more by hand.. not to mention that the entire unit wants to spin freely, making it hard to turn the actual adjustable part- obviously i want to get better suspension for the future.. but i dont really want to do anything till spring.. unless this just becomes impossible.. so...
has anyone got a 'trick of the trade'? if so.. im all ears.. I dont have any experience with this type of coilover.. ive always used ground control coils that are actually pretty easy to do by hand.. anyway, lmk
thanks-

ya these coils would be fine for someone who wants to lower once and then never adjust.. because i think even with the tool these would be a bitch to adjust just because they are so cheaply made.. but i think its rediculous that i cant budge them by hand..
Ground controls are definitely worth the money.. anyone buying stuff like this on ebay to save money will definitely pay more later in aggravation.
