Default ITR on Springs??

I have had a tough decision with the whole aftermarket spring/stock shock combo. I was wondering what everyone's individual opinions and experiences are with it.

If you have good things to say about it could you possibly say which springs you would go with, how much they drop the car, spring rates, and possible a picture of your ITR with them.

Much thanks as I have been debating and researching this for about a week now.

Didn't I say I have been researching this now for like a week? I have done all the searching you want me to. I've searched teins, h&r's, spoons, eibachs and everthing else. There is many mixed feelings about this and just wanted to see if i could get some opinions with good info and possibly some new good pics. I hate how people just post negative remarks that don't actually help anything at all.

Eric... as we had talked about earlier this evening, dont waste your time/money in suspension mods yet! Learn to drive with what you have, when your ability has surpassed the stock set-up then upgrade

Brad.... unlike most Eric has a good idea of what he is looking for and has done much research! I think sometimes before buying something you just want that first hand opinion or experience. Eric is a good guy....

I apologize if I came on a little strong. That is exactly what I was looking for. Just looking for some first hand experience on some set ups. I wasn't trying to thrash at you.

Omnipower is a cheap way to get a decent coilover. The ITR Sport coilovers have 12k/10k springs, are reasonably well dampened (certainly nothing fancy) and are a big improvement for HPDE type stuff. No one is calling them a good race setup though.

I rock 'em. They work. Good budget buy.

DO NOT GET SPRINGS. The caR probably wont even sit the way you want. Almost every car iv seen with springs is higher in the front then the back. Just go with coilovers and you'll be much more happy. Coilovers have a stiffer spring rate and the caR doesnt drop too much when you sit people in it.

My car had springs in it when I bought it. I cornered like a madman and looked sick sitting so low... However, it rode like crap and felt like a go-kart. I knew right away I was going back to STOCK. Now that the car is back on the stock suspension it rides 1000X better and still handles better than most cars on the road.

p.s. It's also loads of fun to lift the throttle after diving into a corner, and be able to bring the rearend around.
