Best Valvetrain and Cam Combo's for My Set-up.
Ok my goal is simple, 200+whp na "like to see around 210whp". I do not want to replace the header, nor do i want to touch the bottom end. Heres a list of mods thus far that has me around 180whp/134tq
99 jdm itr swap
short ram intake
jdm header
2.5" greddy exhaust
high flow cat
msd 6
walbro 255
hondata
i believe thats everything. Now im looking to get 200+whp without spending too much money but i want it done right at the same time.
So what valvetrain combo and cam, and cam gear's would you reccomend for my goals? I know most of it is just preference but with my set-up above on the stock bottom end 11:1 which parts would you used to easily achieve my goal. Honestly id like to see around 210whp if possible.
What Valvetrain kit?
What camshaft's?
What cam gear's?
Anything else you'd reccomend?
Please keep your advice under my terms mentioned above. Thanks in advance. Please dont post a set-up unless you know for sure 100% that the set-up mentioned would meet my goals. Theres alot of diff brands and combo's out there which is why im looking for help choosing which to go with. I dont wanna just pick parts and end up spending alot of money and not making any power. I know upgrading my header would free some power but thats something that can be done later down the road if i want to and not something i wanna do at the moment.
thanks
edit: also when posting a set-up please keep in mind car will mostly be drag 1/4, no autocross and its a daily driver so the products need to keep the car reliable.

I've seen allot of ITR's with Jun 3's and a good header hit the 200 mark with stock blocks. Valvetrain wise I would run the RM gen 2 spring/retainers.
I would agree with clean rice about the RM valvetrain!!! As for the cams take a look at this link. When you pick a set of cams it depends on if you want topend power or midrange. As you can see the type-r cams beat both the jun 3's and toda C's until 7100, awesome midrange. So its all up to you!!!!

are you willing to do anything with the head/IM or is that off limits too ?
if you're making 134 tq , then you just need the top end to open up. You only need 128 tq at 8200. So why is she nosediving in the top end?

well i will do slight milling of the head but only if it is actually going to net some power, no sense in raising the compression for 1whp
intake manifold- i dont really see a sense of upgrading it, its already a type r intake manifold and they usually flow pretty well stock
looks like the jun 3's made most power overall, are these street-able for a daily driver?
what kinda cam gears would you reccomend to go along with the jun 3's and rm valvetrain

how do you think some bc4's with a thinner headgasket and stock valvetrain would compare to the jun 3's?
i already have 11:1 and with a thinner headgasket it would up that a bit, could always mill a little if the cam need it
