Default sohc upgrades

I have been looking into doing a turbo d16z6 and I have one question:
I know everyone says that the connecting rods need to be replaced (looking into eagle rods) but what else would need to be replace for aftermarket parts ... or can the rest remain stock?

PS:
My aim is for 8/10 psi

Thank you

if your replacing the rods, get some pistons and new bearing while you have it apart.

You could run 8/10psi easy on the stock block, it's all in the tune
