1992 Accord Headlights
I have a 92 Accord EX coupe purchased 3 weeks ago to drive to and from work. recently i had problems withthe headlights not working or not turnig off.. the brights dont work sometimes and other times neither the dim or bright will work .. also they sometimes work if i fiddle with the wiper control stalk . most recently i turned off the car off and the lights wouldnt go out.. (just the headlighs.. all other lights went out..) i had to remove the fuses to turn them off..could this be a short? any advice would be appreciated..
Most likely it's the multi-function light switch on the left side of the steering colume, assuming there has not been any prior work on the vehicles wiring harness. Honda individually fuses the headlamps AFTER the power is supplied thru the lamp switch, thus it's either the switch itself (a common point for both headlamps) or there's a short to a voltage sourse somewhere between the switch and the fuse box (where the hdlamp fuses are located).
Sorry I can't be more difinitive about this, but it's a start.
