"JDM" this, "JDM" that, **** "JDM" and all people who think they're so "JDM" hardcore. I don't get why people use "JDM" in their screennames. Like what the hell is a JDMDC4LS? Hello, they never offered a G3 B18B motor for the Japanese Market. Or the peeps who think they are so "JDM" but then they don't even recognize a Mugen bumper for a 90-91 CRX SIR. And then there's the people looking for "JDM" parts for the car that are exactly like the US ones and have no idea what they are looking for. Or maybe they mess up the chassis code and start asking about parts for the wrong car or even worse, it doesn't exist!!! It's like yeah, I want to pay extra for a part for my car, even though it's exactly the same as the US version. (duh) "That's a nice car. Are you going "JDM" style?" I mean what is "JDM" style? Small diameter wheels, no body kit, carbonfiber hood, What you can build a "JDM" style Civic with a Mugen lookalike front strut tower brace, Spoon copy mirrors and a cf hood, fake R front and rear spoilers and headlights, slap on a set of pissstreams and your car would be so "JDM"!!!! Man, that **** would be so tiiite and "JDM". Don't Japanese companies make obnoxious looking body kits too? Don't get me wrong but, I love OEM parts offered on Hondas in Japan. I would kill for a set of J-spec R recaros, think using Honda issued parts on a car is a nicest and most subtle touch to vehicle personalization and using Japanese based tuner parts is the best way to go. (read: if it's not in hyper-rev, it's unacceptable) But this whole "JDM" label is getting so out of hand. I mean, it's so bad that 99.9% of the time I type the letters J,D and M one after another, I need to put them in quotations, otherwise I'll make myself sick. It's the new breed of rice.

"JDM" is so gay.


On unrelated note, but pertaining to ITRs, I got to drive #222 again a while back. I had fun. Thanks Sean for letting me wail on your car. I wish my needle thingy could go up that high

Yeah, I know. I had a bunch of run on sentences and grammatical errors. It was sort of difficult to break them down into paragraphs when you are working with a 10"x 2" rectangle for a typing area.

It was a just a non stop rant. I think it was pretty funny

Call it Jap spec, or J-spec...that's what I used to do awhile ago. But need to know what is true JDM is the most important.

a thought: we all know of those that jump on the JDM bandwagon to be trendy, but ironically, it seems like JDM-ranting is becoming the new trend. not that I don't agree, just an observation.

I was talking about the term "JDM" and not Japanese parts in general. I'm betting $5 that it's going to be one the the most used terms in FF2.
