I did the swap all the wiring is correct. And when I went to start the car all it does is crank over but it doesnt start. I used to get a loud vibration from the relay under the dash, but that stopped. There is a spark every once and a while from cylinder 2 and 4, but nothing in 1 and 3. I changed the distributer but the same thing is happening. Someone help me!!!

 

I'm having the same problem. Even switched out the coil & ignitor. Still nothing.

 

are you 110% sure the 2 white wires on the dizzy are not switched...only one way to find out...depin and switch...hopefully its just that which is the problem

 

i had a very similiar problem.. swapped the 2 white wires and it runs like perfect.

well the problem with checking the wiring is both white wires are identicle.. no distunguishing them. just de-pin and swap them. wont hurt anything if thats not the problem.

2? theres 4 white wires & 3 orange wires on one plug. Then 1 black & 1 blue on the other plug. What 2 white wires?

Yeah I went out that night after I posted this and switched the two dizzy wires and now it runs like a champ with a new set of spark plugs I love it

 

congrats on completeling the most worthwhile and easy conversion!

I'm lost or just retarded, you guys keep saying 2 white wires. these both show only one.

 

Just tried another dizzy. one of my b16 (obd0) same plugs just diffrent legs. and got no spark. anyone have any ideas?

Its the white wire and the tan wire they look the same ones in the center and the others like on the bottom look at the picture.
