I think i've been in contact with EVERY dealership in the NY/NJ/PA area...
I was bullshitted so much on " we have 20e00 people on the waiting lists" that i gave up and called honda corporate lol

Well anyhow my local dealer that i bought 3 hondas from happen to get in a FIJI blue pearl to look at

So i call the dealer the guy i know tells me that the Ralleye Red i was looking at will be coming in on the 5th WHICH i knew was bullshit since i had one of the guys on the other forums with allocation access to honda dealerships check

So i went in there knowing it was Habanero Red
its a little different but from most aspects I like that its not the basic colors i have always had

Since "they made an error" and i have bought before they said they will do 600 under MSRP AND waive destination AND all fees other than tags tax etc

So.... my car will be arriving this week
IF for some reason i dont like the habanero in person they said they will swap it with anohter dealer for a color i DO like and i get to keep the original deal that i was made, got all the paperwork filled out and called geico to give them the information

I will be the proud owner of an 06' Civic Si WITH navi

lol i know its a SLIGHT step down fromhe tsx however
its equal in HP, has navi, and i cut my car payments down which will give me more room to purchase things for my fiance and i's new apt along with save for a wedding

Good ****. Im assuming this is the same type-x from csi. You have been through so many cars. I'm curious what you are going to do with this one.

i haven't seen anyone own the navi model yet either but im sure they do already lol

once i pick it up i'll have pics of pretty much everything, screens and any questions u want answered i'll take those lol

its a civic...its not 1 step down from the TSX...its a little more than that... almost everything in the interior parts, chassis, frame is still the same as the counter part EX, DX 06 Civics am I right? they can't put "better" plastic and metal in the SI than the EX/DX right? maybe better things like LSD, navi... but then again you can put LSD, navi, turbo AND tokico's into a 95 EG hatch...and call that a step down from a TSX or TL?

only the RSX can be considered "a step down" from the TSX...

if horsepower is used to measure "level" then BMW's would be in a world of hurt wouldnt they? Since BMW 3-series (aside from M3) are still underpowered...even Honda Accord V6 and Nissan Altima V6 would smoke it.... but BMW 3-series is still C&D best luxury sports sedan...

Unfortunatly I am suspecting that this thread will eventually turn into another flame filled fight over muniscule things about car _____ is better than the Si etc, etc like the last one. I sure hope it doesnt, I want to see more intelligent discussion about the new Si.

I wasnt refering to you starting fights, more other people coming in and bashing the Si with bad arguments etc etc.... basically a bunch of nonsence. You have had alot of cars lol.... so does that mean the Si will only stay with you for a short while or you plan on keeping it a while?

Not if mine comes in tommorrow... Habanero w/ Navi... we'll see...

You back from joyriding? One thing i would like to know, How easy/hard is it to 'navigate' (pun intended) through the Navi system? What about while driving? Just curious, dont want to be stuck with some crap like BMW's i-Drive Computer Mainframe. Enjoy the car, because until i get mine i have to live vicariously through all of you that have yours already.

i called to see the status if it arrived and the sales rep is off today
which is good and bad...

good cause tomorrow im pulling all the parts off my tsx so i can trade it in stock

bad cause i want it now

once it arrives i'm going to end up doing the trade in and drive way next saturday the 14th
