Default 92-96 SI header on a 92 S Prelude?

I didn't think there would be this much difference in an S and an SI but apparently I was wrong... I couldn't find a header to fit on an S so I bought one that is supposed to go on an SI, but the O2 sensor in my S is at the bottom of the stock header whereas the O2 sensor on the header I bought is on the downpipe. Is there an adaptor or anything I can get to reach the O2 sensor on the new one?

Also, I bought a bolt on cat-back exhaust system for this car and one of the pipes is too long, it runs into the catalytic converter, is there something I'm doing wrong?

i didn't tihnk the exhaust manifold of an H23 could even fit on an F22.. besides, the O2 sensor for an h23 downpipe is on the lower section of the header, not on the upper portion. I think you're gonna need to search for an Accord (F22) header (upper section).

As for the reset of the exhaust system, sounds like once you get your header taken care of, the rest of the system will bolt up properly.

All you need to do is buy the H23 header and down pipe, then make a wire extension so you can hook up the O2 sensor at the bottom. It'll work just fine

there are many headers' for the f22a1, I think that its the same header for the accord, well keep us updated on what you do, or you can check out f22parts.com

The H23 upper WILL fit an F22. The H23 primaries are a little larger though. Just extend your O2 sensor wires. The lower pipe might be too long and that would explain why your cat-back won't fit. What brand is the cat-back?

Why spend so much money on the F22?

That is a good point. Forget the header and exhaust and go turbo.
F series turbo.

How would you make a wire extension? I found a guy on ebay selling a DC Sports header without the downpipe, so I think I'll try that... and if I do that, will the rest of the exhaust fit? Boyfriend is pissed that he spent all this money and nothing will fit but the muffler.

BTW, looked at f22parts.com... keeping it for future reference... thinking of changing the whole engine when $ is available... not sure about turbo though cuz that's a lot of $ to spend on a '92 - not planning on keeping the car forever.
