car stops in the middle of an intersection
i need help...this is what happens im driving and i stop at a stop sign and my car shuts off, it wont start back up i get it towed back home i buy a new distributer cap, o2 sensor, plugs and rotor. car starts up but it wont idle below 2000 rpms...it stays at 2000 and surges up about 300 rpms and drops down...and repeats over and over again...what could be wrong?

could be tps sensor or tdc. well my crx was doing the same thing but i changed the distributor and throttle body and it stopped for a while.
